This is same video I uploaded to Youtube less than month ago. Now you can watch it in Vimeo too. First video there hasn't been too popular but I will keep publishing videos there just in case people find me there.

NAMM 2018 announcements
I spent last nigh checking NAMM 2018 announcements. So this post is about them. I already preordered Minibrute 2S. These might go to shopping list as some point.
These were only ones I could see buying in near future. Addition to Minibrute 2s of course. I had to go to bed before anything else really interesting was announced. I will get back to this topic if there were anything else I have something to say about.
Fun with Arturia Minibrute
This video was inspired by Arturia's Minibrute 2 announcements. Can wait to get this oscillator and filter in semi modular architecture. I have already preordered Minibrute 2S. You can expect to hear it here on March or April when I get mine.
Everything comes from Minibrute. Native Instrument Replika XT and Valhalla Vintage Verb give delay and reverb with some automation. Sequence comes from DAW.
I am now on Vimeo too
You could have expected this after last post. I am now on Vimeo too. I got https://vimeo.com/kvesti url. There are few places I can't be Kvesti. Vimeo is not one of them. At first I will upload older short movie style videos. I am not sure if I keep weekly schedule after I have uploaded those. I have a feeling Vimeo is not like Youtube which demands constant uploads.
I started with free account so I won't upload more than one video a week and I can't do anything fancy or see proper statistics. Youtube isn't making profits. Vimeo looks like it has solid business model with paid accounts and different monetization model. I would like to get some money from music and videos. Youtube was easy when they did everything for you. But now limits are higher I my channel is not growing. It was time to check something else.
It seems like you have to sell something to make any money from this hobby. I don't expect to make it even or get reasonable money per hour put into this any time soon if ever. But little something would be nice. With pro account you can sell videos in Vimeo. Just have to think what those videos could be. You have to be found for that to make any sense. Being found seems to be the problem here.
Youtube needs real competition
I am just tired. You might have heard latest thing Youtube has done. Their golden boy caused controversy and Youtube decided show they are serious by taking monetazition away from all the smaller channels. Like we who have followed the rules and haven't done anything stupid are the cause of Youtube's problems. Probably no channel causing problems will be hit by this last action.
This makes me reconsider what I will do with Youtube. I haven't got money from them but in future there is no hope of getting any. Lately I have got more money but never hit the threshold for payments. When I check my traffic sources most viewers come from social media. Only traffic Youtube seems to give my channel are synth videos which are so niche there is almost no competition. Then they can show my channel.
Probably my content isn't suitable for all the click bate and people doing stupid things videos. I think Vimeo would be better suited but there is not similar monetazition. If there is no monetazition in Youtube for channels like mine I can as well upload my videos for more suitable platforms too. I will upload videos to Youtube because it is still the place to be. I don't know how long. I can't be only one feeling this way. I will probably watch less Youtube if I am only good for bringing audience for others to make money of.
Too bad Vid.me has already closed. They might have got new users after Youtube's latest thing. Youtube is lucky they don't have real competition yet. Maybe Facebok's videos will change that. If Facebook gives similar monetazition I would upload my videos there. Others would do the same. There should be something but it doesn't work for me. I can't even open page which tell the requirements.
Lux Helsinki 2018
Lux Helsinki 2018 started next weekend after New Year's Eve. I didn't dare go there on Saturday. This was shot on Sunday when busiest had already seen the event. You can get more info from the event from https://www.luxhelsinki.fi/en/
I am week late with this video. I didn't want to do editing and music during workday evenings. Music is made for this video. You can hear what Analog Rytm, Analog Four and Roland SE-02 can do.
