Short Movie
Lux Helsinki 2018 is now on Vimeo if you want to see it there rather than in Youtube. I won't be uploading weekly to Vimeo. Free account has total limit. I need to thing what I upload there. I now have three videos there and I have hit first fifth of total space of free account.
I guess it is time to publish another old short movie here. This was shot when Pokemon GO was the hottest thing. I too played it when I shot this video. I had training center or what they were called right next to my home. So close I could fight from my living room. And few pokestops or what they were called where I walked anyway. So many I had storage always full. I played it couple weeks. Then it got boring.
To be honest I am not completely happy with the music. Back then I didn't do that much music and what I made didn't always work like I intended. I have made new music weekly for few months now and it shows. I am starting to get hold of it and learning all the time.
This is same video I uploaded to Youtube less than month ago. Now you can watch it in Vimeo too. First video there hasn't been too popular but I will keep publishing videos there just in case people find me there.
Lux Helsinki 2018 started next weekend after New Year's Eve. I didn't dare go there on Saturday. This was shot on Sunday when busiest had already seen the event. You can get more info from the event from https://www.luxhelsinki.fi/en/
I am week late with this video. I didn't want to do editing and music during workday evenings. Music is made for this video. You can hear what Analog Rytm, Analog Four and Roland SE-02 can do.
Lux Helsinki 2018 starts tomorrow. Here is video I shot from last year's event. You have to wait two weeks for this year's video. I don't know which day I go there. Probably not tomorrow. Which means I would have to do editing and music during workdays' evenings if I wanted video ready next week. Lux Helsinki 2016 had cold weather. This had little snow but weather was quite warm for winter and snow was melting away. This year it looks like no snow and even warmer weather.

This is second part of lighting the darkness trilogy. First part was last week's Return of Black Christmas and third one will be Lux 2018. Each video show how to light the darkness that is Helsinki during end of December and beginning of January.
Weather was same as week before, but this time there were more people and fireworks.
