Picture above is computer generated image done with Stable Diffusion. It is the one which convinced me to get into generative AI art. It is my art as far as computer generated art can be anyone’s art. It is generated from my prompts on my computer. I didn’t use tools which let you compose what AI will generate. Haven’t learned those yet. ControlNet and Stable Diffusion for Blender are on things to learns.
Don’t want to get into generative art just using prompts. Usually results are weird and it is hard to get AI to generate what you want if you want something specific. Generated art might look good but I want more than just prompts. Now seems to be good time to jump on board since those kind of tools are coming. ControlNet seems to be few months old based on dates of Youtube videos.
I was against AI art but after trying it I can see use for it. It is fast way to get images giving mood you want to give. With my drawing skills I can’t make anything close to it myself and it would take much more time. My biggest problem with AI art is everyone can make same picture if they use same tools, prompts and seeds. I want something that others can’t do. Running tools on own computer should help with it. Not sure how but I should be able to give something own for AI to use.
