Well. This happened. Meme on the left made me check guitar I have wanted since it was announced. I really didn’t need another guitar but have liked to have good Telecaster for a long time. My Telecasters are cheap ones with Seymour Duncan pickups in them. Still those are one of the better guitars I have. Considered even to get American Deluxe or Ultra at one point. Wanted to have one with noiseless pickups. 2021 Player Plus series was announced. It was cheaper American Deluxe/Ultra. But at that point I felt I had too many guitars.
I have even tested it in store. Liked it in there. Videos made guitar sound like what I was missing. Not exactly missing but getting only with noisy single coils. There was one available with over night delivery and it was bit cheaper than elsewhere. It was good time to get one. Store where I tested it had already sold that guitar. Otherwise I would have got it from there. Maybe earlier than now.
