First two books were promising. Third is where the story gets really interesting. Brink has been hard science fiction with hints of Lovecraftian horror. There has always been hard science fiction reasons for everything but it wasn’t sure if there weren’t anything more. After third book it looks like Brink stays hard science fiction. Second book felt soft reboot. Third book connects first book to rest of the books.
Third book continues where second one ended. Bridget Kurtis goes undercover to Junot Corporation HQ. She tries to solve who was behind of alterations of second book’s space habitat. This lead her to master sect or is there master sect after all. Brink is telling the story quite slowly. After three books we know humans are losing their minds but it is not yet sure why. First two book’s hinted something Lovecraftian. Third book hints something more interesting.
First book ended with cliffhanger. It looks like we get into it on next book.
