This was quite interesting video. When I have tested pedals for upcoming pedalboard some combinations sound really dull. Even same pedal on different set of pedals sound dull one day and great next. Almost all of my pedals should have true bypass. I might have similar problem they have here. In pedalboard there will be buffer at the beginning of pedalboard. My gate is Boss NS-2 which has buffered bypass. It should fix the issue for the board. But I went to watch more buffer videos.
Now I wonder if I need buffer at the end of pedal board too. Some videos say one at the beginning is good enough. This video said it depends on board where the buffer should be. Some say there should be one at the beginning and another at the end.
