My figure drawing course start to feel like work. It is getting into point which I don’t find that it interesting. I am not looking to draw realistic characters. It is not aiming to teach us realism but I have hard time finding motivation to draw skeletons from reference. Just wanting to get measurements which I can use to draw somewhat correct looking figures. I have two shorter figure drawing courses which might be more what I was looking for. Currently I am doing quite long meant for beginners which takes its time and makes us draw lot. It has been helpful but sometimes I have hard time finding motivation to do some parts I don’t find interesting or see how they help me to get me where I want.
Those times I get weird ideas to what to draw. Then I draw those ideas instead of watching lessons and drawing from reference. This idea was way over what I can do. Drawing bent over character from upward angle has two part I don’t know how to do correctly. At least yet. Just wanted to give it a shot. Result is bodybuilder showing dangers of doping abuse. Went all in on experimenting and made it grey plus red because I wanted to see how it works that way. I think it works quite well.
