I am pretty sure I have one of those by the end of the year if Behringer can make enough of them by then. Korg raised interest for ARP 2600 clones and Behringer comes with their version to pick up the fruits. This looks exactly like 2600 I want. It has everything I want and nothing I don’t want. I don’t need speakers or keyboard. I have headphones and speakers. I can control it with midi controllers I already have or with DAW which is what I do when I do music with my gear.
My only reservation was if it has audio in like the original. It does. When Korg released expensive version with as close to original as possible Behringer releases modern version which sounds like original but has modern improvements. This is better for someone who buy synths to use them.
Now the question is will Korg bring their ARP 2600 mini or do they give up. It will be closer to original and have features this doesn’t but how many wants it instead of this one.
