Inktober 2022: Empty

Something might have been lost in translation or I am stretching the concept of empty. Picked low hanging fruit again. Next two are not abstract concept. Those need more effort put into them.

Inktober 2022: Kind

Obscure science fiction references continue. This references 60’s Star Trek’s racism episode. In episode there was alien race members with white left side and black right side. Other members had black left side and white right side. One of these groups abused and hated the other group with passion.

I need to start drawing Loomis heads again. It was hard to do after a while. Have been using references almost everything. Starting to lose drawing without reference skills.

Inktober 2022: Forget

I took low hanging fruit here. Original plan was to draw Will Smith from Men in Black but didn’t want to do it because Oscars and how that took all media attention from important climate change report. Second idea was to draw Tommy Lee Jones from the same movie. But I got simpler idea.

There was long story arc in Matt Smith’s era of Doctor Who. There was alien race Silence with powers to make people forget ever seeing them. People forgot seeing them as soon as they watched the other way. Don’t remember too much of the story. Matt Smith’s era wasn’t the most memorable. What I remember is character started to draw lines on their body each time they saw Silence. Some Doctor Who fans celebrated story arc by drawing lines on their body one day. Have forgotten if that was annual or one time thing.

This was so minimalistic and simple I wanted to try other Silence related idea. It didn’t work as well as this.

Inktober 2022: Crabby

Don’t ask me to draw emotions. I am not good enough and didn’t want to try this time. Probably should learn but one work day is not enough for it. I assume Sanna Marin is well enough known to foreigners get the message. If she isn’t. She is Finnish Prime Minister. Conservative circles try to manufacture scandals of everything she does. Even her taking selfies is tried to turn into scandal.

Inktober 2022: Nest

Drawing of bird’s nest. Probably first drawing of the day. Might need to have one for music video I am planning to do later today and publish some time next week. It is getting harder to get something to say about these. At least these teach not to spend too much time on drawing and concentrating what is important to get message across. Inktober 2022: Match

Original idea was to draw something similar as flame drawing but wanted to do something different. I try to keep these minimalistic and simple. Most prompts are something I don’t usually draw or care too much but I keep drawing official prompts instead of making own or using some alternative prompts. Drawn with Clip Studio Paint.
